The dining area was uncomfortably cool and we were left on our own without drinks or our entrees for more than 45 minutes. The food was ok, mine served less than warm. Our waitress was otherwise somewhat attentive. We did learn she had a party of 8 in another room. Will only go back to listen to band and try dockside.
I also need to to note the bar across the street. We actually ate lunch there when we arrived Friday afternoon, and it was really good! The bartender was amazing, and she even told us of a wine tasting event that was going on in the area, super friendly. So we returned there the following night for dinner since it was affordable dining and we didn't want to be to far since we had been drinking all day. The bar at night attracts a not so pleasant crowd- its the only bar that is open til 4am. No matter which room you are in, you will hear the crowd. On top of that, Saturday night when we went back to the bar, some random guy came up to my husband and tried to start a fight-we didn't engage and we left immediately. What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend, was not so relaxing as I didn't get any sleep. We were tossing and turning because of the rowdiness from the bar and the jerk who was drag racing and reving up his muscle car engine for hours. Sadly, I don't think we will be returning.
If you are local, you should come over, if you are here on vacation, I would say is a most.
The Inn at Sugar Hill is very cute, I loved the room we stayed in, really cozy. We had the rendezvous package and it was great, really delicious. The waitress was great as well, really enthusiastic. There was also some really nice outside seating as well. Breakfast seems to be hit or miss. We stayed 2 nights, and the first morning it tasted great but the options of what to pick from were limited - eggs with bacon, sausage and roasted potato's. Second morning, different cook, eggs bland, tables were not set up on time, and when we asked for a drink, there was hesitation, I felt like I had asked for too much. Service Friday night was great and the young girl who works the front desk is really sweet.
Great views. Senator Suite very nice accommodations. The food is tops.
Amazing view and great food. The service was top notch. I highly recommend the meatloaf and crab bisque. Try the flat bread you won't be disappointed.
Nice ambiance and beautiful view. Food made fresh and trendy bar people of 30 and above . Great customer service and excellent spot for locals.
