The Palace is AMAZING. Brought our kayaks, they shuttled us to a drop spot and we paddled back. Enjoying a DELICIOUS dinner and cocktails on the patio as we speak. This is a hidden gem, for sure. Budget friendly, too!

Tube, kayak and canoe rentals, pizza, wings, beer, mixed drinks, and nice people. Overall a great experience. Having been kayaking in GA, FL & SC I did think the price could've been a bit lower. The foot pedals on the tandem kayak were busted in the back and missing in the front, but otherwise the equipment and the experience were great.
Reading Jed's review from 3 weeks ago I have to say he is wrong....I just got off the river, it's clean besides "one" piece of debris which we picked out of the river. The kayaks are not brand new but also not run down. They were brand new a year ago. They are so busy the kayaks do not look new ONE year later. The seats are padded and I have to say after doing the 8 mile trip the seat was very comfortable... the prices are are also great and with being a regular there I can say I didn't notice a change in prices since the new system this year from last year. Food is great, service is great, river is awesome. Had a great time today!
Awesome experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful 3 hour experience kayaking. Definitely doing it again next summer.
