Going to 8th grade at this school... The teachers are fantastic! However there is a horrible bully problem, you know what i'm saying? I've been bullied so much in this school, the past two years. Again though, the teachers are the best!
- How to be motivated; how to want to get up in the morning; use/enjoy social media- maybe even monetize it; getting to actually enjoy school; changing the meaning not condition (of something/somewhere/etc); how to be grateful; affirmations; basic principles on how to be happy- taught by motivational speakers’ videos, motivational speakers such as Tony Robbins, Napoleon Hill, Les Brown, etc
VERY MAD THAT WE HAVE SECOND STEP. IT LITERALLY TEACHES US NOTHING AND IT IS A WASTE OF TIME. I REMEBER LAST YEAR IN SEVENTH GRADE WE DREADED FOR TUESDAY TO COME BECAUSE WE HATED SECOND STEP SO MUCH. IVE HEARD A RUMOR SAYING WE'LL HAVE IT EVERYDAY AND I SWEAR IF WE DO IM TRANSFORING TO CATHOLIC SCHOOL.

Why We Need This- Students must be taught life skills. These are the very basic ones that you simply cannot live without (unless you want to work a 9:00 - 5:00 job (an acronym for just overly broke), fail miserably at life and never achive freedom and hapiness in your life.
- Most kids don’t even know what love is; they must distinguish the difference between loving somebody and liking somebody; your social life, what being in a relationship requires; include sex ed. (most kids don't learn this at home - sadly, they learn from porn); also most divorces happen because of a financial issue- tie this in with wealth - have it taught by relationship specialists

I'm a student there and got promised that no one would be sitting on the bleachers. (it even says not to sit on bleachers in red.) and people are walking an jumping on them now. This school has no communication between staff. This is honestly the worst school i have ever seen
- How to invest; how to make money; how to save; how to get the best deal; how to negotiate; how to sell, how to create wealth, how to create valueble assets that will take care of you throughout your life, etc -have it taught from millionaires/billionaires
I wrote this review sitting in the davies cafeteria after being dress coded. Davies has a strict dress code (especially for girls) and does nothing about the real issues. Approximately two weeks about I was being sexually harassed during lunch "because I was wearing shorts" I reported the problem, and nothing was done about it. After three days of no change I decided to report it again, finally they moved my lunch table, but the boy got off without punishment. Davies needs to teach boys how to act instead of teaching girls how to dress. I got scolded for my shorts being "too short" but a boy telling me that he is attracted to my legs is just "boys being boys" ????
- What drugs do to the body; how to take control of your body; how to not fall under peer pressure, how peer pressure can be helpful under the right people; how to gain willpower; how to feel good about your body; what type of exercises to do; what exercise does to your body; maybe include P.E.; etc -have it taught from internet fitness gurus or even the school health teachers
Are we really going to use the skills they teach in Second Step? Even though we learn a lot of skills we never use - (Algebra, the history of Mesopotamia, etc) but that’s a topic for a later date. We must modify/change Second Step to Health, Wealth, Love, And Happiness - skills that you’ll actually use in life!
