I was mesmerized by all the outdoor life size sculptures , exhibits , the gardens, meadows, and ponds with water lilies.
This is a wonderful place to spend time if you love artwork or are visiting the area for any reason. The statues are all amazing in their own way, and the grounds have interesting designs to them as well, such as a really awe inspiring tree walkway. The fees are low, as well, making this a fun and inexpensive way to spend an afternoon.
This is a beautiful place to unwind on a weekend with family and art lovers. The 42 acres park has lot of offer to every taste from contemporary exhibits to indoor painting galleries of famous work of art.
We thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent scenery walk along the arboreal paths. It is a fun place for kids too who couldn’t stop chasing behind the peacocks around the park. Overall a great place to spend quality time !!
One of my favorite places. So close it's like a hidden gem in my backyard. Everyone loves to go there and it's a great place for kids because you can let them run around outside, but they are seeing the sculptures and in a beautiful environment. It's not just the sculptures that make this place so special; the landscaping is superb, and is a key attraction
Easy location to find. Beautiful place to discover art displayed in sculpture form. There is a lot to see between the sculptures, ducks, peacocks, lighting and the landscaping. It is easy to spend all day immersed in culture. Clean bathroom facilities, warming stations and very good food at all if the cafe's. Rats restaurant is fabulous! Food and ambiance is perfect for a special occasion. Loved it!
We also had a late lunch on the reastaurant on the grounds, which was pleasant.
Many sculptures are by Seaward Johnson, who likes to turn world famous paintings into sculptures. You can recognize many Monet paintings.
My Jersey cousins took me here for the day and what a treat. The sculptures are amazing, from the moment you walk in the entrance with the NY sculpture in the main building to all the outside gardens and walkways I was left breathless. I would recommend to all the artists at heart or anyone with an imagination - a must see!
