I've been telling my wife how I don't understand why we keep coming to Panera here in the Hamilton Marketplace because of how god-awful the drive through service is. Every freaking time we come through the drive thru, something is wrong.
Don't go through the Drive-Thru if you expect good service or a correct order.
For a chain restaurant as big as Panera Bread is, you'd think they'd have this figured out by now, but sadly, that is not the case. We'll be going elsewhere from now on.
This place used to be great, and now it's awful. The staff tends to be unaware of what is actually in the store when ordering and takes forever to get food ready. I've waited in line for over 15 minutes behind one car and been told that they have run out of what I ordered once I get to the window. I understand that some things may take a while but a drive through should not take 10 minutes per person.
On top of that, a few weeks ago a family member ordered here and was informed after ordering multiple drinks for the family that the store ran out of cup toppers- and then had to cover the drinks using plastic wrap. This store needs to get back on its feet. Until then this is the last time I will come here.
It's a real shame, we come here all the time and meet with people here on the regular, we'll have to go somewhere else from now on.
I had a nice experience today. The manager took my order and helped me make some decisions on food selection. It was busy and the food came out quickly and accurate. Plus you can eat outside.
Bread is missing, drinks are missing, soup is wrong, if it's not one thing, it's something else.
Great food, great staff, but the wait is what brings this places rating down a notch. It’s hard to put this place at three stars... I really like Panera’s but this place needs to get up to par with wait times.
Absolutely the slowest drive thru. Employees just don't care and we're very rude!!!!
